Primary Purpose: This position is responsible for segment sales within the assigned market with a primary focus on selling Italian segment products. Segment Specialists will be responsible to maintain a positive business relationship with customers in assigned Italian foods segment and strive for additional product introductions by conducting daily sales calls to meet the sales goals of the Italian Segment and ensure that all major Italian Segment opportunities are being pursued.


Responsibilities:


1. Drive company sales by aggressively marketing and presenting Italian Segment product lines to our customers to increase sales for company.
2. Become the subject matter expert for assigned Italian Segment.
3. Analyze market competitors and pricing and communicate on regular basis within the organization.
4. Assist in conducting business reviews with key distributors at appropriate intervals that affect business within the Italian Segment, as needed.
5. Italian Segment Specific Sales and LLO business development: With the help of applicable KeyImpact personnel, target high volume opportunities.
6. Work directly with Italian Segment Clients to ensure all opportunities are maximized.
7. Maintain current list of Italian segment LLO's.
8. Communicate and maintain an overview of the line on an ongoing basis with the Zone Vice President, Corporate Client Manager, and Saputo Sysco Dairy Foods Marketing Managers.
9. Develop menu concepts to effectively drive the product lines within the segment, as requested.
10. Build new volume making Operator Sales Calls.
11. Report daily sales call activities in CRM.
12. Any additional duties as required.


Basic Position Requirements:


Abilities: Knowledge of assigned segment sales process, excellent negotiation skills, excellent presentation skills, relationship management skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail. Ability to travel if needed.
Education and Experience: Minimum of 3 years foodservice experience or sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Power Point, Excel and Outlook.


Training Required: Segment Specific.

Working Conditions: Normal office conditions, highly concentrated mental and visual alertness.


Equipment/Tools: Computer, telephone and other equipment assigned as needed. Valid Driver's license is required.
